About Alloy Refractaloy 26:

Refractaloy 26 / Refract 26 (GH2026, R26) is a Fe-Ni-Co-Cr precipitation-hardened alloy designed for high-temperature environments. It performs well in long-term use at 540°C to 570°C and can withstand temperatures up to 677°C. The addition  of chromium and molybdenum provides solid solution strengthening, while titanium and aluminum promote the formation of   a γ' aging phase, which improves the alloy's thermal stability and reduces stacking fault energy.

This alloy offers superior tensile strength, creep resistance, and stress relaxation, without being sensitive to notches. It’s commonly used in steam turbine enclosures, where it can operate under 540°C-570°C for over 100,000 hours. Similar alloys are used for complex parts and blades in aero turbine engines. Its good plasticity at medium temperatures helps prevent fractures caused by long-term use under stress, with no harmful TCP phases forming even after prolonged aging.

About Alloy Refractaloy 26:

Refractaloy 26 / Refract 26 (GH2026, R26) is a Fe-Ni-Co-Cr precipitation-hardened alloy designed for high-temperature environments. It performs well in long-term use at 540°C to 570°C and can withstand temperatures up to 677°C. The addition  of chromium and molybdenum provides solid solution strengthening, while titanium and aluminum promote the formation of   a γ' aging phase, which improves the alloy's thermal stability and reduces stacking fault energy.

This alloy offers superior tensile strength, creep resistance, and stress relaxation, without being sensitive to notches. It’s commonly used in steam turbine enclosures, where it can operate under 540°C-570°C for over 100,000 hours. Similar alloys are used for complex parts and blades in aero turbine engines. Its good plasticity at medium temperatures helps prevent fractures caused by long-term use under stress, with no harmful TCP phases forming even after prolonged aging.
